From a real problem to a real platform
Where It Started
Guard360 began with a single frustration. A security company owner was managing 120 guards across 14 sites in Hyderabad. Every Monday morning, he spent three hours reconciling attendance registers, WhatsApp photos, and Excel sheets — trying to figure out who was actually present, who was paid correctly, and whether the guards had completed their patrol rounds the night before.
He couldn't answer any of those questions with confidence. He was paying for shifts he couldn't verify and managing incidents from register entries that were sometimes filled in after the fact.
"We looked at every software available. Either it was built for Western markets and didn't understand how Indian security companies operate, or it was so complicated that no guard on a ₹15,000 salary was going to use it."
The Decision to Build
We decided to build Guard360 from the ground up, specifically for India. That meant understanding how guards actually work — on Android phones, often in areas with poor connectivity, in multiple languages, on rotating 12-hour shifts. It meant understanding how operations managers work — checking attendance on a mobile browser between site visits, not at a desktop computer. And it meant understanding what security company owners actually care about: accuracy, accountability, and payroll that doesn't have errors.
What We Built
Guard360 launched as a multi-tenant SaaS platform — one system that a security company can onboard, configure, and use from day one without any IT infrastructure. Guards use a simple Android app. Managers use a web dashboard. Owners get real-time visibility from anywhere. Every feature was built around how Indian security operations actually work, not how a Western software vendor imagined they might work.
